EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING THAT TAKES YOU OUTSIDE YOURSELF
We’re TANGIBLE CULTURE.
An organization fascinated by the most misunderstood concept in human vocabulary: culture.
Challenges of the 21st Century
In today's rapidly changing world, our communities face unprecedented challenges stemming from gentrification, climate change, and sociocultural differences. These issues have a profound impact on our education system and the well-being of our communities. To effectively address these challenges, we must develop solutions that foster understanding, bridge diverse perspectives, and promote meaningful engagement across all segments of society.
we recognize the vital role that movement workers play in shaping our communities. We broadly define movement workers as anyone who contributes to the learning and growth of others, regardless of age or setting. This includes young leaders, organizers, youth workers, teachers, paraprofessionals, mentors, coaches, professors, community and parent activists, librarians, professionals, and all those who work tirelessly to create positive change.
How We Can Help
We are dedicated to creating a culture of peace and human rights that honors Black, Indigenous, and People of Color in order to ensure that all of our members can thrive, and we engage students, parents, community activists, and educators to help make this possible. Our range of services includes developing programs, designing curricula, providing coaching, producing educational materials, conducting workshops, and delivering training in areas such as human rights, intercultural and multicultural education, anti-racism, education abroad, and many more.
No matter if you are just starting to learn about intercultural learning, peace education, and human rights, or if you need some help in improving your curriculum, programs, and/or school culture, we are here to help you out.
Our Approach
Navigating the difficulties of multicultural and multilingual communities offers a variety of real-world issues, necessitating holistic approaches to resolve them. Our work is anchored in these interconnected pillars to nurture knowledge, promote peace, and defend human rights through our curriculum and everyday praxis:
• Social Justice and Human Rights
• Intercultural communication
• Transformative Justice and Peace
• Global Citizenship Education
We explore the intersections between these areas to promote social change and help you develop more sustainable solutions that reduce conflict and fortify multiracial and intergenerational coalitions.
